A ship of "firsts" and "lasts", Chesapeake was the first sheathed, steel-hulled sailing vessel built in the world… and the last sail-only, full-rigged ship built in this country.
Number Seven is a strong par four that requires two well-struck shots to reach the green in two. The player is aware of a narrow creek crossing in front of the tee and running along the right hand side of this hole. With bunkers left and right, a slightly uphill second shot that runs onto the green is generally the best play.
