Built in 1892 by Arthur Sewall & Co., a mighty, 3,539-ton wooden square-rigger. The largest wooden square-rigger ever used in the United States.
A decision must be made on the tee whether or not to try to carry the small creek that bisects the fairway at a little over 200 yards. The second shot is played slightly uphill to a green protected by two bunkers on the right and a set of mounds behind.
