After climbing a hill to the Eleventh tee, the player immediately sees the trouble that lies ahead: a large rock outcropping at almost 200 yards must be carried to reach the second level of this plateaued fairway. If successful, a relatively easy second shot follows. The player also has the option of playing to the lower fairway with the tee shot and then playing the second to the upper plateau.
