Built in 1607 by colonists who landed at the mouth of the Kennebec River, this was the first ship built by Englishmen in the New World.
The opening hole is a medium length par four with the tee shot played over a slight hill to a semi-blind landing area. The second shot is a medium length iron over a small pond to a well-protected green. Be careful not to go long on this hole, or a difficult downhill pitch will follow.
